Preparations are well underway
for the fourth graduation ceremony. The committees are long on enthusiasm and
are determined to make this event a resounding success.
These graduates are the
testimony to the college and its faculty as well as how they are doing in
fulfilling their mission to deliver a high-quality undergraduate education. It
is indeed a remarkable accomplishment for this young college. Congratulations
to you and your family. |
An occasion such as this is a
great opportunity for the college and its community with the presence of the
Governor of Hail H.R.H Prince Saud Bin Abdul Mohsin bin Bin Abdul Aziz and the
Deputy Governor H.R.H Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Saad Bin Abdul Aziz, as well as H.E
the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khaled Bin Mohammed Al-Ankari and H.E the Rector of KFUPM
Dr. Khaled Bin Saleh Al-Sultan to celebrate the
achievements and the sacrifices that our graduates have made.

The word “commencement” means
the beginning coming from the conjunction of the Latin words “Con” and
“initaire” translated roughly to “with initiation”. It is defined in English as “to
begin” or “to start.” In fact, you have already started and this is your first
step towards a new and exciting life experience. You are now standing at
crossroads, where each one of you will take a new direction in his life’s
journey. You need to roll-up your sleeves and do the work that needs to be done.
Don’t let obstacles that will come along your way to anchor you; rise up and
achieve your goals. I always remember the famous words of Thomas Edison who
invented the Light Bulb and certainly did light up the world “I have not failed.
I’ve just found 10.000 ways that won’t work” Success doesn’t come in the air; It
is the sum of determination, commitment and persistence. Finally, I wish
you all best of luck and may all of your personal goals and dreams come true and
once again, CONGRATULATIONS.
